The research is clear: the brain develops more rapidly in the first few years than at any other time in life.

When you Talk, Read and Sing with children from the time they are born you are helping them build their brains. Small moments of connection by talking, reading or singing to your little ones are a big deal!

“Talking is Teaching: Talk, Read, Sing” is a public awareness and action campaign.  It helps parents and caregivers recognize their power to boost their children’s early brain and vocabulary development. Through simple, everyday actions – like describing things while walking outside, or singing songs together during bath time, parents are empowered with fun and easy ways to improve their children’s learning.
